The old Pirate

The design process focused on building a balanced composition around the central character while allowing surrounding objects to support the narrative of the scene. Environmental elements such as props, textures, and lighting were arranged to guide the viewer’s attention while maintaining a sense of depth and visual hierarchy. Colour relationships and controlled lighting were used to create contrast between foreground and background elements, helping the character remain the primary focal point of the image. The project was produced through a 3D digital workflow. Modeling and scene construction were completed in Cinema 4D, where the character, props, and environment were assembled and arranged. Lighting, materials, and final rendering were developed using Arnold Renderer to achieve consistent shading and atmospheric depth. After rendering, the image was refined through post-production adjustments in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Lightroom, where colour balance, contrast, and overall image clarity were improved.
